The guys from Airbag Man have been working hard on a new range of in-cab kits to suit their Coil-Rite and Ride-Rite air springs. While it’s easy to inflate the bags to the pressure or height you want at the local service station (or a small portable compressor)… the ability to do it by just by pushing buttons on your dashboard is pretty cool!
The Airbag Man in-cab kits have always been a great product (robust and reliable) but as the interior of most 4WDs are now modern, finding pockets or spacers for the traditional setup was becoming trickier.
The new kits have improved gauge, paddle and switch designs. There’s even a digital version with individual mounting panels for greater flexibility in mounting.
Airbag Man In-Cab Kits – Analog Version
The latest Airbag Man Direct Inflation in-cab kits feature a new motor that provides the same output as the previous performer, but with less amp draw and in a more compact package that allows for easy and multi-positional mounting (multi-fit mounting bracket supplied).
The air hose and fittings are push-to-connect types for reliability and ease of installation. The wiring harness is simple (straight forward) and includes good instructions.
Airbag Man In-Cab Kits – Digital Version
Here is the same new/update kit, but in digital panel format in place of the traditional needle gauge.
The digital setup (apart from looking really sharp!) can be easier to read at lower pressures or during a quick glance whilst driving.
When it comes to installation, less backspacing is required as the airlines don’t have to run up to the gauge. Instead, the air pressure senders are mounted separately.
All the components (either digital or needle gauge kit) can be installed without specialised tools and in a straight-forward manner. Just add your time and a bit of common sense.
Airbag Man In-Cab Kits – On-Board Air Supply
Get an extra-beefy Airbag Man in-cab kit as a complete on-board air-supply system.
Be your own significant air source for inflating air springs, tyres and other inflatable components.
It includes everything from the direct-inflation kit described earlier, plus your choice of either 1, 2 or 3 gallon air tank, industrial-style extension hose and inflation wand.
This version is supplied with a gruntier high-performance, high-flow air compressor which is controlled by its own pressure switch which turns itself on/off to the tank at 150psi.
